Dr. Coccaro was born in Staten Island, New York. He graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He completed a hospital based general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He completed implant training at the University of Miami and advanced sedation technique at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Coccaro prides himself on keeping up to date with continuing education and furthering his skills resulting in a better experience for his patients. Dr. Coccaro is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association and the International College of Oral Implantologists and donates his time through dental missions.

Dr. Coccaro is directly quoted as saying: "I love dentistry because it improves the quality of people's lives. We enhance their smiles allowing them to eat well and improve their general health. It brings me great happiness to help people and see them smile".

Dr. Coccaro is married to his college sweetheart Daria, they have two children Matthew who is married to Hannah and lives in North Carolina, and Emily, and their dogs Henry and Sadie Mae. Outside of Dentistry Dr. Coccaro enjoys traveling, sailing, cooking and staying active.
